Xinhua Net Nanchang, April 10 (Lu Mengmeng) Reporters learned from the press conference of the 2025 China (Nanchang) International Apparel and Garment Fair on the 9th that the expo will be held at the Nanchang Greenland International Expo Center from May 7th to May 9th. More than 650 domestic and foreign garment purchasers will attend to strengthen the supply and demand docking of the garment industry and empower Nanchang's garment industry to go global.
It is understood that the textile and garment industry is one of Nanchang's four characteristic traditional advantageous industries. Currently, the city has more than 3,500 modern textile and garment enterprises, forming a layout of "one district, two parks, and multiple points" in space, with Qingshanhu District as the main gathering area, and Nanchang County and Anyi County supporting development. Among them, Qingshanhu District is the largest textile and garment industrial base in Jiangxi Province and the fourth largest in China.
In recent years, Nanchang City has vigorously promoted the intelligent transformation and digital transformation of the textile and garment industry, encouraging enterprises to introduce advanced equipment and technology. At present, Nanchang's textile and garment industry is transforming from a traditional OEM model to a high value-added, intelligent direction through Brand upgrading and industrial chain improvement." said Hu Songhua, president of Nanchang Modern Textile and Garment Association.
Hu Songhua introduced that this apparel and garment expo will take "Technology + Fashion" as its theme, with an exhibition area of approximately 30,000 square meters. It will set up fabric and auxiliary materials exhibition areas, ready-made clothing exhibition areas, industrial internet exhibition areas, and machinery and equipment exhibition areas, covering the entire industrial chain of clothing design, production, fabrics, auxiliary materials, and intelligent manufacturing.
In addition to inviting 600 well-known domestic and foreign apparel and garment companies and Brands to participate in the exhibition, this exhibition also invited more than 600 domestic purchasers and more than 50 overseas purchasers from more than 30 countries and regions including the United States, the United Kingdom, Portugal, Germany, and Egypt to further promote accurate and efficient docking of the garment industry." said Hu Songhua.
It is worth mentioning that this apparel and garment expo also integrates various activities such as high-end forums, investment promotion conferences, fashion shows, and supply and demand docking meetings to create a communication and cooperation platform that combines industry information, trade docking, and aesthetic experience, helping the high-quality development of Nanchang's textile and garment industry.
